WHAT                     A Celebration of the Catholic Faith by the

                                 Youth of the World with the Pope

 

WHEN                    August 15-21, 2011

 

WHERE                  Madrid, Spain

 

WHO                       Catholic Teens and Young Adults.

                                  

                                 Minimum age: 16 by August 1, 2011

                                 Maximum age: 30

                                 Non Catholics must be sponsored by a Catholic

                                 youth.

 

COST                      Tentatively set at $1,800.00

 

                                 Price includes:

 

                                 Air transportation to and from Madrid;

                                 WYD 2011 registration;

                                 Food, Lodging, Insurance in Madrid

 

EXTRA                 A possible experience in Schio, Italy from August 10

                               to August 15 (stay with host families)

 

ADULTS               a maximum of 6 adults (over 30 years of age) will

                               be welcomed on this WYD 2011 pilgrimage.

 

FUNDS                 Fundraising group events will be offered;

                               participants may raise money on their own by

                               soliciting groups or individuals.

 

PREP                     Spiritual preparation for WYD will consist of e-

                               mailings, meetings, times for reflection, prayer

                               experiences.
