The All Night Easter Vigil

The All Night Easter Vigil gathers local young people, primarily of high school and college age, for a unique experience through the “Most Blessed of All Nights”.

Beginning late at night on Saturday of Holy Week, the Vigil ends on Easter Day with a sunrise Mass of the Resurrection.

The St. Leonard Youth Retreat Center and vicinity hosts this mainly outdoor celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Major activities during the All Night Easter Vigil include an individual, reflective “walk to the empty tomb”, a new fire ceremony, a challenging “walk to the waters”, and a symbolic anointing.
