Every retreat shall have a group leader who is at least 21 years old and qualified chaperones shall be in attendance providing attentive supervision in all areas, at all times, including outdoors.
Every group will respect the times of arrival and departure indicated on the contract. Time for setup or team preparation must be included within the contracted time.
All vehicles will be parked in the marked parking spaces on the entrance driveway. Once that space is filled, the lawn on the south side of the exit driveway (between the trees) will be used.
There is no parking in the oval in front of the building or in front of the garages.
Overflow parking may use the driveway south of the vineyard and the gravel parking area at the end of such driveway, without blocking the nursery service roads.
No motorized vehicle of any kind is allowed beyond the above areas except for immediate deliveries to the kitchen (and never on the bricked area).
No hunting or fishing is allowed on the property.
Alcoholic beverages are permitted ONLY previous explicit request to and approval by the Retreat Center Director.

A small campfire on the island is allowed upon obtaining permission from the director, who may also provide the firewood on request.

All pets must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in the building at any time.
No fixture, furniture, kitchen equipment, etc. may be removed from the building or moved from floor to floor.
The altar may be wheeled out of the chapel into the meeting room, using caution.
Users of the pavilion are to follow the posted regulations for such usage.

Due to constant spillage problems and danger of fire, processions with candles must be restricted to grassy areas.
Stationary candles may be used with restraint and with suitable protection under them.
Each person will furnish his/her own sleeping bag (or linen and blankets), pillow, towels and toiletry.
Each group will provide for its own meals and use the kitchen equipment responsibly.

Use woodwork for hanging posters or signs; do not use tape on painted walls.
The bulletin board closest to the chapel is reserved for the CSJ. Please do not post anything there.
Emergency exits in dormitories are for emergencies only.
A restricted telephone is available under the responsibility of the group leader. Use of a call card is encouraged. If not, reimbursement of long distance charges is expected.
Each group will follow this clean-up code:
Clean the kitchen area and any equipment or utensil used (follow the instruction provided). Return everything to its original storage area.
Sweep the dining room floor, collect the trash from all rooms, empty all garbage cans and dispose bags in the dumpster located south of the Youth Retreat Center (by nursery).
Return anything that has been moved to original location, including picnic tables, grills, etc. on the island or in the pavilion.
Remove any tape from floors or windows.
Be available for a walk-through with the residence personnel and report any damage or problem before leaving.
It is the responsibility of the user to pay the requested donation or make arrangements to pay before departure.
While the CSJ welcomes visitors, the barn behind the Youth Retreat Center and the private quarters in the CSJ residence are strictly off limits.
Visitors are asked to ring the doorbell and wait for someone to open the door.
The Prayer Hut on the island is available upon request.
