God expects my love.
I need to love him with all the affection of my heart, with every thought of my mind, with every act of my will, with every fiber of my body.
I must do everything out of love for him.
I must love him, but love him tenderly, love him passionately.

 

I am not really capable of loving God. I faintly love him. I can only barely desire to love him... Yet, my desire to love him is already a form of love. Do I at least desire to love him?

 

God is trustworthy. He loves me more than I love myself. My destiny is in very good hands when I entrust it in God’s hands.

 

I need to let God direct my life. My soul needs to simply seize God who offers himself to me moment after moment, step after step, at every corner and in every event. Only by doing God’s will shall Jesus be formed in my heart.

 

Young people, you are the new missionaries the Church of today needs. You are no less than ordained ministers in your responsibility of building up the Church. It is you who can change the hearts of the young from within, it is you who can make our society truly Christian, it is you who can build peace and progress.

God loves each one of us because he is our father. He is a father who is all love for his children. His love for me is personal, intense, in the present moment. His love is the love of a God: that is, infinite, eternal. God loves me from all eternity. He loves me from the time that God is God.

 

I see my life as a continuous chain of God’s benefits, a creation that never stops happening. Every moment, every thing around me is a gift from him. I feel like a composition of God’s gifts. My life is like a fabric woven with God’s graces.

 

I think we pain God when we show so little trust in him, when we approach him so timidly and faintly, as if we did not really believe that he is more than anything else father to us. We must have absolutely no doubts regarding God’s feelings for us.ONE-LINE QUOTES
