St. Joseph: a Champion!

 

 

 

Saint Joseph: Champion of Faith:

 

Saint Joseph’s life is faith testament. He faces the mysterious initiatives of God, and simply obeys them, because he is just and "just" is the man who lives by faith.

 

Joseph simply  and always responds with “Yes!” to God.  He says yes with his life, not with his words.

 

Saint Joseph: Champion of Silence:

There is not a single Word by Joseph recorded in the Gospels.

God speaks and Saint Joseph does.
"Do not be afraid...", "Stand up...", "Come back..."
Joseph has no comment, no question, no complaint.

Saint Joseph: Champion of Humility

Joseph is the head of the house, yet he simply serves.

He is the father of Jesus, the Son of God, yet he quietly works as a carpenter.

He is entrusted with the mission of forming the Divine Master, yet no one notices his dignity.
